Carole E. Murphey, Director
The Director is the Mississippi Judicial College’s chief administrative officer with overall responsibilities for its administration and supervision of professional staff. The Director is responsible for directing, coordinating, and administering the operations of the College. The Director also works with other university officials in communicating the needs of the College and the judiciary.

William Charlton, Research Counsel II
Develops, evaluates, implements, and organizes education and training programs for judges and court related personnel. Conducts legal research, proposes relevant judicial and legal topics for continuing judicial education seminars, advises task forces, and provides technical assistance to court personnel on procedural and statutory concerns.

Provides administrative support to facilitate operation of the Mississippi Judicial College. Responsible for coordinating activities of the office, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, processing necessary forms and maintaining inventory. Also manages the day-to-day operations for MJC.
